Miguel Indur\u00e1in will be taking part in the \u0160koda Titan Desert Morocco 2023<\/strong> on April 30th. It will be the second time that the rider from Navarre takes part in a Titan World Series<\/strong> race, after the \u0160koda Titan Desert Almer\u00eda in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Five times in a row winner of the Tour de France<\/strong> GC and 12 stage victories of the Grande Boucle, two Giro d’Italia<\/strong> leader’s maglie rose, world and Olympic individual time trial champion… Indur\u00e1in is, for many, the best Spanish rider<\/strong> in history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The acclaimed athlete born in Villava will take part for the second time in a Titan World Series race. He will do so as a member of the Kosner <\/strong><\/a>\u2013 <\/strong>Saltoki Home<\/strong><\/a> team, one of the teams that promises to be one of the most talked about in the race. Accompanying the rider from Navarre will be the reigning champion of the race, the Swiss Konny Looser<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2020, and after the race was changed due to the pandemic, Indur\u00e1in took the start of the race held in Almer\u00eda<\/strong>, together with his son. On that occasion, the Spaniard finished 41st. Two years later and with the experience gained from having already ridden 428 kilometres in Titan World Series events, the former Banesto and Reynolds rider is taking on the doyenne race, the \u0160koda Titan Desert Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFor me, it is a great joy <\/strong>to be able to take part in the \u0160koda Titan Desert Morocco 2023 as part of the Kosner – Saltoki Home<\/strong> team. I couldn’t do it before due to the pandemic and now it’s time to live this experience with a great group of people,\u201d explains Indur\u00e1in himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A CHALLENGING ROUTE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 30th<\/strong>, Indur\u00e1in will be facing one of the most mountainous <\/strong>routes in the Moroccan race in living memory. Six contrasting stages, with the first two days being very demanding on uphills and downhills and the following four in the most deserted <\/strong>areas of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full profile of the route will be announced on January 26th<\/strong>, at a presentation event held in Barcelona<\/strong>, which is expected to be attended by Indur\u00e1in himself as one of the most prominent riders in the peloton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registrations for the \u0160koda Titan Desert Morocco are still open for any rider (professional or amateur) wishing to ride with the five-time Tour de France champion.
