A name emerged there that promises to bring much joy to the Titan races: Jos\u00e9 Luis \u2018Pipo\u2019 Rodr\u00edguez. \u2018Pipo\u2019 was the local hero. A cyclist born in Coyhaique, the race\u2019s host city, who had competed professionally on the road. A seven-time Chilean time trial champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
‘Pipo’ was the most beloved man in town and had the full support of his community. With two stage wins and a podium finish in the overall standings, the Chilean earned his place in this year’s \u0160koda Titan Desert Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
