ŠKODA Titan Desert Morocco 2022 official course
25 de April de 2022RPMSports presented on Thursday, March the 10th, the ŠKODA Titan Desert Morocco 2022 course. From May the 8th to the 13th, the most intrepid mountain bikers have an appointment with the adventure of a lifetime.
Morocco will once again host the event. A relationship that spans 16 years, since the first edition in 2006, and that was only interrupted in 2020 by the COVID-19. Year in which the Titan Desert was held in the only desert on the European continent, the Tabernas desert in Almeria.
The ŠKODA Titan Desert Morocco 2022 returns to its essences and recovers what has always been its hallmark: the infinite desert. Six days of racing, for a total of 645 kilometers, which will start on May the 8th with a stage that starts and finishes in the town of Merzouga. It will be the third time that the small town in the Moroccan desert hosts the start of the first stage of the ŠKODA Titan Desert, after the 2012 and 2019 editions.
More than 600 kilometers will separate riders from becoming Titans in their own right. Six stages to reach the Maadid region, which is the usual finish of the race.
This year’s edition will include new challenges that will test the skills of the competitors. Navigation, for example, will be one of the major axes of the ŠKODA Titan Desert Morocco 2022, with different challenges to measure the capabilities of the aspirants.
