Boumalne Dades, the point of departure
9 de February de 2023The next edition of the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco will start from the mountainous area of Boumalne Dades. A spectacular spot in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains, of great natural beauty.
Located at an altitude of 1,612 metres, the town of Boumalne Dades is in the heart of the Valley of the Birds. These rugged, monumental and wild mountains are set in a unique environment, surrounded by small Berber villages.
It is the ideal place for an infinite number of trips that will take us to places as spectacular as the Dades Gorges. This ravine, located in the valley of the Dades River, seems to cut the mountain in two. It is a film-like landscape that can be reached after winding along a vertiginous road, which we will have to climb at the same time as we reach an altitude of over 1,500 metres.
This area is known as the Route of the Thousand Kashbas, because as we travel through its landscapes, we will be able to contemplate the numerous villages formed with traditional houses made of natural adobe.
