2026 Škoda Titan Desert Morocco: in the Atlas Mountains
Each year the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco route changes. Because the adventure can never be the same and each edition has to have unknown and undiscovered sections. It is an essential part of the experience.
A six-day trip and six stages to explore with your bike: desert, mountains, dunes and a millenary culture to discover. The route for the 2026 Škoda Titan Desert Morocco will be announced in the coming weeks, but here is the route for the past edition for your reference.

MERZOUGA – MERZOUGA
Km: 91 km
Elevation Gain 764 m
Dificult:
Description: A day of 91 kilometers in loop around Merzouga. Stage that will be characterized by the iconic passage through the Erg Chebbi dunes. One of the most classic and spectacular challenges of the race.

Merzouga – Ait Ben Said
Km: 120 km
Elevation gain 699 m
Dificult:
Description: If the first day is defined by the dunes, this one will be by the navigation and the toughness. A day of 120 kilometers of tracks that roll at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. An epic day that the peloton will not forget.

Ait Ben Said – Tazlarte
Km: 90 km
Elevation gain 1328 m
Dificult:
Description: The only mountain stage of the edition. Start and finish at a well-known camp for the peloton. Along the way, 90 kilometers of downhills and climbs, including the Škoda Challenge section: a time trial climb that will reward the fastest to complete it.

Tazlarte – Tafroukht
Km: 104 km
Elevation gain 554 m
Dificult
Description: The route returns to its classic routes and leaves the mountains behind. Day of pure desert and first sector of the marathon stage in which Titans will have to be self-sufficient to get by without assistance or the usual comforts of the camp.

Tafroukht – El Jorf
Km: 91 km
Elevation gain 598 m
Dificult:
Description: Another stage that brings back a lot of memories for the race’s veterans. 91 kilometers of challenge with a different landscape from the previous days, more sand and a lot of navigation. Classic finish of the first editions of the race, next to the wells of El Jorf.

EL JORF – MAADID
Km: 61 km
Elevation gain: 243 m
Dificult:
Description: Last challenge for the peloton before crossing the iconic finish line at Maadid, where emotions will run high. A stage of just over 61 kilometers, but very diverse: stretches of sand, stone and even a small string of dunes before reaching the arch that marks the end of the adventure.
