Bego Alday
30 de April de 2026Bego Alday is one of the few people in the world who, in just a few months, has experienced such a drastic temperature contrast as that between the waters of Antarctica and the Moroccan desert.
This Basque athlete and adventurer is making her debut at the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco, but it isn’t the biggest adventure she’s undertaken this year.
Alday competed in an ultra-endurance triathlon in Antarctica—an event that, until now, had only been completed by men. This marks a historic milestone in line with the goals of the IronHuman project’s organizer.
A military officer, engineer, ship captain, soccer fan, and ultra-endurance athlete, she is no stranger to fields typically dominated by men. She is yet another example of the growing number of women who are increasingly drawn to the Moroccan adventure.
