‘Pipo’ Rodríguez
27 de April de 2026Last year, a new race was added to the Titan World Series: the Titan Forest Patagonia. It was the first race in our history to be held on the South American continent and also the first in the “forest” format.
A name emerged there that promises to bring much joy to the Titan races: José Luis ‘Pipo’ Rodríguez. ‘Pipo’ was the local hero. A cyclist born in Coyhaique, the race’s host city, who had competed professionally on the road. A seven-time Chilean time trial champion.
‘Pipo’ was the most beloved man in town and had the full support of his community. With two stage wins and a podium finish in the overall standings, the Chilean earned his place in this year’s Škoda Titan Desert Morocco.
A person who was already a Titan before he even knew about the race and its spirit, accustomed to succeeding in the face of difficulty because, as he himself says, “If it weren’t difficult, everyone would do it.”
